Gisou by Negin Mirsalehi is a luxury haircare brand by famous Dutch & Persian fashion influencer, Negin Mirsalehi. Founded in 2015, the brand has deep roots and a wonderful story of the coming together of family traditions. The signature ingredients within these staple products are honey and propolis, derived from the Mirsalehi Bee Garden where Negin and her father continue the 6-generation family tradition of beekeeping. Using nature's gifts Negin’s mother created a formula to transform hair which is rich in minerals, vitamins and antioxidants.


The mission of Gisou is to inspire people to appreciate and take care of their hair using nature-based products, and to feel beautiful while doing so. With their story they want to raise awareness about the importance of bees for the overall ecosystem, and shine a light on the incredible benefits of what they produce.


Gisou is currently available on and offline in over 30 countries, and continues to expand rapidly internationally. To continue on this growth trajectory, the team is on the lookout for a trailblazing Trade & Sales Account Manager to help take this brand to the next level.



In this new role in retail team, you will have the opportunity to be the face of Gisou for some of our existing and new retail partners. You will contribute to the growth of Gisou withing the retail environment by incubating new partners and creating 360° marketing and sales plans that support launch and sustained support throughout the year. You will identify new retail opportunities, negotiate reciprocal retail support and bring the Gisou brand to life, both online and in-store.

You are reporting into the Global Trade Marketing & Sales Manager.



Account management

  • Building strong relationships with retail partners and day-to-day interactions;
  • Overseeing incubation by setting up new partnerships – by successful negotiations on T&C, pricing, in-store visibility and creating 360° marketing and sales plans;
  • Field support at retail partners, with sales education and training, engage teams in execution of sales and merchandize plans;
  • Identify opportunities for retail growth;
  • Provide weekly account business recaps and monthly reporting – detailing sell out, SKU sell-through, ranking and marketing support.

Trade Marketing & Sales

  • Collaborating with all internal and external stakeholder (Sales, Brand Marketing, Creative, Operations & Supply Chain, Digital Marketing, Social and Influencer Marketing, Finance and Customer Experience) and oversee priorities;
  • Driving additional sales and brand awareness by ensuring operational excellence during new product introduction via retail partners;
  • Analysing retail initiatives and forecasts for business sufficiency;
  • Conducting analysis: analysis of sell in and sell out, giving recommendations on assortment and (marketing) opportunities;
  • Co-create the 2023 + expansion plan and wholesale strategy by market research and identification of (e)-retailers.



  • Minimum 5 years professional experience of a similar role, preferably in the beauty industry;
  • Bachelor degree qualification in business, marketing and/or sales;
  • Experience with account management of (beauty) retail partners;
  • Self-motivated and great sense of initiative in driving and creating business opportunities;
  • Strong communication skills with a good command of the English language;
  • Strong commercial awareness, acumen and negotiation skills;
  • Strong organisational skills and a structured approach to project management;
  • Result driven, ambitious and innovative approach to business;
  • Ambitious, motivated, detail oriented and capable of taking on responsibility;
  • Adaptable, as recognized the pace of the business is undergoing and can maintain composure in high pressure situations;
  • Truly passionate of the beauty industry;
  • Creative, open-minded & inclusive attitude;
  • Proven ability to be flexible and adaptable in a continuously evolving, entrepreneurial environment.
